My 850 was dark green. Drivers floor was aluminum I riveted in when it rusted away. Not a Lotus but I added lightness!

my neighbor used to drive an 850 spyder in cali 40 years ago. I sent her a pic of one I saw at a car show and she says that looks like mine but mine didn’t have the engine in the back....

One of the cheapest FIAT ‘classics’ you can get - import one from Poland. You can find them in pristine shape for like....$2000 CAD, plus shipping. They were built until 2000, parts are still plentiful, and the 126 first launched in ‘72 and it’s underpinnings were based on the 500, so you’re driving a car from 1999-2000 that is essentially a car from 1957 underneath! :P
